Time to launch the campaign - yet again.

Clinton spokeswoman: Hillary's having trouble connecting because she's such a complete unknown

Hillary Clinton has been in or around the political spotlight for almost five decades. Obviously, her public persona shifted into high gear back in the '90's, and she's maintained that breakneck pace ever since. She's been an Attorney General's wife, a Governor's wife, a First Lady, a Senator, and a Secretary of State. At this point, there's virtually nothing we don't know about her.
...And some people have suggested that familiarity is hurting her chances in 2016. However, those people are, apparently, wrong. If you think you know who Mrs. Clinton is because you're familiar with her long history of ethical violations, you're just fooling yourself. According to her spokeswoman, Karen Finney, Hillary's campaign is struggling not because you know so much about her, but because she's such a complete unknown. Yes, really. (Scroll down for video) I know what you're thinking: "Hillary isn't connecting with voters because she's one of the most unknown well-known people?" They're really going to try and sell that?" Yes. They really are.

So, tomorrow, Hillary will - once again - announce her candidacy in a wide-ranging speech designed to let people get to know her. Hillary will dig deep and discuss her family history and her personal story, and then she'll refuse to take questions. Honestly, "at this point what difference does it make?" If you don't know who she is after she's spent 45 year in public life, you're obviously not interested in finding out. For everyone else, there's not enough phony-baloney doublespeak on Earth to make you forget what you already know. If you're for her, you're for her. If you're not, you're not. Her campaign can spend all the time it likes pretending we don't know who she "really" is. It won't work. The fact is, there's no "reset button" on the last 40 years.
