Stuff like this never gets old, and it never stops being relevant because, remember, the global warmists tell us we must act now or else their dire predictions about the future will inevitably come true. So what do we find when we look back on some of their past predictions? The Media Research Center did just that the other day, dredging up a hilarious (although not intentionally) report by ABC titled "Earth 2015."
You have to see this. It's just a 53-second clip but it hits all the highlights. New York City underwater? Milk at $12 a gallon? Gas at $9 a gallon? And all this was supposed to happen by June 8, 2015 - which of course was just a few days ago.

I seriously wonder if the chuckleheads who put this report together were true believers, or if they just figured they'd spew forth a little propaganda and worry about the consequences later. It's not as if there was no way to save video on the web seven years ago. They had to realize someone might dredge it up in 2015 to see how accurate they were.
Then again, not everyone who's yelping about global warming is scam artist. A lot of the activists really believe this nonsense because they trust the people who are telling it to them.
But you shouldn't. The next time someone tells you you're "anti-science" because you doubt global warming predictions, just remind them of how accurate they've been with their predictions thus far. They've been trying to sell this for decades, you realize, and we've always been just five years or just 10 years away from some sort of disaster.
And when the disaster doesn't happen, they just move back the date and sell the same nonsense again - until they get the massive tax increases and government controls on industry that this is really all about. It's not that you're anti-science. You're just too smart to be played for a fool by the same people who were long ago exposed as frauds.
