Constitution-denier Piers Morgan: Whites who use the N-word should be jailed

Constitution-denier Piers Morgan: Whites who use the N-word should be jailedYou may remember Piers Morgan as "that British guy used to have a show on CNN." He famously challenged a certain Mr. Herman Cain to a debate after I wrote a few pieces about his moronic anti-2nd Amendment diatribes. At the time, he arrogantly waved around a copy of the U.S. Constitution and referred to it dismissively as "your little book." Then his show was cancelled and he was, pretty much, never seen again.

...But here at "The Cain" we like to keep tabs on our old pals, so I make sure to check in with his Twitter feed every now and again. Not content to simply attack gun ownership, Piers has decided to go after free speech as well. He has announced that, according to the brilliant mind of Piers Morgan, uttering the "N-word" should be a jailable offense. First of all, Piers, making something a crime for one race that's not a crime for another race is, dare I say it, racist. If we want to maintain equality, shouldn't ALL people who use this horrible word be charged with the same crime? Secondly, if criminal charges are going to be based on race, what should we do about our President? Obama was recently bleeped for using the "N-word" on Marc Maron's podcast. Granted, it wasn’t in the pejorative sense, but still ...someone may have been offended. If offensive speech is to be a punishable crime, we have to do something, don't we? If memory serves, he's half white. Should we give him half the jail time so we can properly punish his evil white DNA? Finally, all of the above is patently ridiculous. If you're running around dropping N-bombs, you're ignorant, end of story. It doesn't matter what race you are. Black, white, Asian, whatever. You're a fool, and you should just shut up because you're making yourself look stupid. You are not, however, a criminal. Words, however much progressives wish they were, are not crimes. There are plenty of ugly, unintelligent people on all sides of the political and racial spectrum. But, if you take offense at something someone says, that's a "you problem" not an "us problem." Go home and deal with it. As for Piers, we get it. He's just trying to remind people he still exists. But can't he find a less stupid way of doing it?
