The Iran deal is terrifying

I'm sure I'm not the only person who finds the proposed Iranian deal terrifying. And the scariest thing is not the deal itself which is quite chilling.

Worse is the leadership in this country that appears to believe that Iran can be trusted. There is a saying, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." How embarrassing for our country. Naïve or reckless, either way we have placed our country and the rest of the world in a position of weakness. Our only hope now is a veto proof rejection by congress. I'll be placing phone calls and advise others to do the same. Virginia Sparks Rotonda West, FL
