""The reason we were here is because we heard the terrible things the Taliban were doing to people, how they were taking away human rights," said Dan Quinn, a former Special Forces captain who beat up an American-backed militia commander for keeping a boy chained to his bed as a sex slave. "But we were putting people into power who would do things that were worse than the Taliban did --that was something village elders voiced to me." The policy of instructing soldiers to ignore child sexual abuse by their Afghan allies is coming under new scrutiny, particularly as it emerges that service members like Captain Quinn have faced discipline, even career ruin, for disobeying it. After the beating, the Army relieved Captain Quinn of his command and pulled him from Afghanistan. He has since left the military."It has been tough going for troops since President Obama took office. Not only have troops been told to look the other way when children are brutally raped, the Rules of engagement, which were changed and enacted by President Obama in 2009, have been blamed for the increase in casualties, which have more than doubled since the Democrat took office.
"It is no accident nor a coincidence that from January 2009 to August of 2010, coinciding with the Obama/McChrystal radical change of the ROE, casualties more than doubled," Simmons went on. "The carnage will certainly continue as the already fragile and ineffective [rules] have been further weakened by the Obama administration as if they were playground rules."A new Congressional report is also showing that the United States is losing the battle against stopping the flow of foreign fighters leaving the US to join ISIS. The report says that in the last 9 months over 7000 foreign fighters have joined ISIS in their fight with more than 250 Americans joining their ranks as well. What is the administration doing to stop these fighters from being trained by terrorists then returning to the United States? A Congressional task force said,
"The fighters pose "a triple threat," the group wrote in a summary of its findings: "they strengthen terrorist groups, incite others back home to conduct attacks, and can return themselves to launch acts of terror.""Because the United States is fighting a war against Islamic terrorism, our government has become more politically correct in regards to Muslims and are now changing our very laws to accommodate them. New York public schools, funded by taxpayers, will now close their doors in observance of the Muslim Holidays of Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr. New York has been joined by Vermont, Massachusetts, Michigan and New Jersey. Parents across the country have become outraged at the public school system which has made exceptions for the teaching of Islam within our classrooms. This has happened while the same public school systems have now opted to eliminate all mention of Christmas and Rosh Hashanah from school calendars. President Obama says we must embrace the cultures of Islam here in the United Stares and that the "future does not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam." However, if, as a result, we must turn our heads at the rape of children because it is just part of their culture....or we must accept the rape and abuse of young girls who are forced to marry before they even reach their teens because it is a part of their culture...if Islam demands the death of gays and the stoning of women.....then I choose not to embrace these cultures.
