MSNBC: Calling someone a 'hard worker' is racist lingo which diminishes slaves who picked cotton

You may know MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry from her claims that your kids aren't yours, because they belong to the collective. You may also know her from the time she wore tampons as earrings, the time she claimed the term "ObamaCare" was racist, her racist jokes about how hilarious it was for the Romney family to adopt a black baby, or her pro-tax advocacy while facing a $70,000 IRS lien for unpaid taxes.

However, given MSNBC's ongoing ratings nightmare, you probably don't know her from watching her show. Fortunately, there are plenty of us watching for you. Today, it's The Washington Free Beacon. They caught the following exchange in which Harris-Perry plumbs new depths in the PC rabbit-hole. She wants to be "super careful" when we use the term "hard worker," because apparently it's racist code that refers to slaves picking cotton. Yes, really. ...Even when you're talking about Paul Ryan. She was discussing Ryan's potential speakership with Alfonso Aguilar, who referred to the former VP candidate as a "hard worker." In Harris-Perryland, such bigotry shall not stand!!
I just want to pause on one thing. Because I don’t disagree with you that I actually think Mr. Ryan is a great choice for this role. But I want us to be super careful when we use the language “hard worker,” because I actually keep an image of folks working in cotton fields on my office wall, because it is a reminder about what hard work looks like. So, I feel you that he’s a hard worker. I do. But in the context of relative privilege, and I just want to point out that when you talk about work-life balance and being a hard worker, the moms who don’t have health care who are working–
....and blah blah blah. We're sure Paul Ryan is thrilled to have the Harris-Perry endorsement. The clip appears below. God willing, it will serve as the craziest thing you see all day.
