To Pope Francis Christmas only a “charade”

We’ve been hearing it from the atheists for decades. We’ve been hearing it from the legions of the hypocritical politically correct, but how many of us ever thought we’d ever hear these words from a Bishop of Rome: “Christmas is a charade”. (Pope Francis, Nov. 12, 2015) We can image the loud cheers being sent up from the secular world at the pontiff’s bullseye shot at the heart at Christmas, because it comes from a source that was least expected on the eve of Advent 2015.
The pope, who claims that Christmas is a “charade” due to continued war across the globe, has said that the lights, parties, Christmas trees and nativity scenes of the season are a charade with so much “war and hate”. (Telegraph, Nov. 19, 2015) During all of World War II, which claimed more lives than any other conflict in modern history, Pope Pius XII never claimed Christmas was only a “charade”. No pontiff ever cast a shadow on “lights, parties,Christmas trees and Nativity Scenes. The real “charade” getting underway for Advent this year is the UN COP21,which kicks off the first day of Advent and is being held in the same city rallying back from the terrorist attacks of Friday, Nov. 13; a charade in which Pope Francis has taken a leading role, by insisting that global warming/climate change, not rampaging Islamic terrorism is the 21st century’s biggest threat. Millions of Christians the world over recognize Christmas as the time we celebrate the Birth of Jesus. Never dimming, the memory of that Birth has warmed even the coldest of hearts down through passing centuries. The original Nativity tells the story of the true humility and poverty of the Holy Family like no other.

“Christmas festivities will seem empty in a world which has chosen "war and hate", Pope Francis said Thursday.  (Telegraph) Christmas will not seem at all empty to those who bow their heads in sincere reverence to the Child in the Manger, whose Blessed Mother wrapped Him in swaddling clothes. Those who bow their heads this Christmas include the loved ones of the 130 slaughtered by Islamic terrorism in Paris, and millions of persecuted Christians left behind while Europe and America bring first to safe harbour, hundreds of thousands of Muslim Syrian “refugees”, whose numbers have been proven to be riddled with incoming jihadists. Rather than a “charade”, Christmas, in a world going hostile by day, is needed today more than ever. The Vatican tree, a towering 82-foot-high pine from the German state of Bavaria, which will be decorated in time for the start of the Vatican’s Holy Year of Mercy on December 8, will be festooned with ornaments made by children from cancer wards in hospitals across Italy. This year’s Nativity Scene will be made up of 24 life-size figures, sculpted from wood and hand-painted. (Telegraph)
“In a nod to Pope Francis's humble style, alongside the figures from the story of Jesus's birth will be sculptures of ordinary people, including a man supporting an elderly person in need.”
In other words, Francis and the Vatican are keeping their tree and Nativity Scene which they put on display, and you should keep and display yours. "Christmas is approaching: there will be lights, parties, Christmas trees and nativity scenes ... it's all a charade. The world continues to go to war. The world has not chosen a peaceful path," he said in a sermon. (Telegraph)
"There are wars today everywhere, and hate," he said after the worst terror attack in French history, the bombing of a Russian airliner, a double suicide bombing in Lebanon, and a series of other deadly strikes.  "We should ask for the grace to weep for this world, which does not recognise the path to peace. To weep for those who live for war and have the cynicism to deny it," the Argentine pontiff said, adding: "God weeps, Jesus weeps".  “He continued: "Those who make war are damned, they're delinquents. War can be 'justified' for many reasons. But when the whole world is at war, as it is today ... there is no justification."
What kind of a pope would throw a shadow over the start of the annual Christmas season? A pope who lends his presence to the big lie that global warming and not Islamic terrorism is the world’s biggest threat; a pope whose church was paid $79 million by the Obama administration to force migrant invasion on unsuspecting American citizens. Related: The Road to Hell Obama is taking the world down created by U.S. Catholic Bishops Executive Amnesty’s Alinsky-inspired ‘Bishop-gate’ Delusions of Grandeur direct from The King In fact, the Obama administration was bankrolling America’s churches back in 2010, and the tens of millions were flowing into church coffers to prepare for the invasion of America now underway. Nor do protestants get a free ride in the bankrolled-by-Obama category with the Baptists taking government grants:From Dec 2012 to January 2014, Baptist Child & Family Services received $62,111,126 in federal grants from Health & Human Services for “Unaccompanied Alien Children Program”. (Liberty News, July 10. 2014) Christians getting ready to celebrate Advent should take heart, in spite of the pontiff’s patently false claim that “Christmas is a charade”. No matter how resolute or wayward, no pope could ever change the Birth of Jesus proclaimed by angels to the shepherds:" Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; 11for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord..” (Luke 2:10) Meanwhile, Pope Francis, as the song says, ‘It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas’.
