Homeschoolers Win Landmark Case

In a 3-0 decision the California Court of Appeal for the Second Appellate District reversed its earlier ruling which would have required homeschoolers to be certified teachers in order to homeschool in California. Nine House Church Christians in Henan Detained for Helping Quake Victims

China Aid Association has learned that on June 1, 2008, during a Sunday service at Taikang County Henan Province, approximately 6 PSB and RAB officials disrupted the house church meeting and forcefully detained 7 of the participants. Police officials did not state the reason for the detention. During interrogation, police officials questioned the members as to who would be taking donations to the earthquake disaster area.
