It is thus necessary that the individual should finally come to realize that his own ego is of no importance in comparison with the existence of the nation, that the position of the individual is conditioned solely by the interests of the nation as a whole.... above all the unity of a nation's spirit and will are worth far more than the freedom of the spirit and the will of an individual. --Adolf Hitler (1889-1945) speech at Buckeberg, Germany Oct. 7, 1933 ("The Speeches of Adolf Hitler, 1922-39," ed. N.H. Baynes)This is ground we covered in my last article, so I will not belabor the point here. But something that I mentioned in passing--that Globalism is a kissing cousin of Communism and Fascism--merits some further discussion.
It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle. -- Sun Tzu (circa 5th century BC) "The Art of War""If you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle." In other words, you're screwed. I bring up Sun Tzu's quote because describing the enemy of "we the people" is precisely what I am doing in this and my previous article. If we do not know our enemy how can we expect to win any battles? What I am attempting to do is un-muddy the waters so that "we the people" can get a clearer picture of our situation and who and what our enemy is. Speaking of left wing establishment Republicans, I suppose this is as good a time as any to discuss the so called "neocons" (neo conservatives, or new conservatives) who are not so new and certainly not conservative--at least not in the traditional sense of the word. They are, among other things, the pro big government, pro "constant warfare" warhawk element of the Republican Party. And when liberals call them fascists they are not too far off the mark. Neocons are, in any event, left wing elements hiding in plain sight within the supposedly right wing Republican Party. Again, names don't matter -- if an individual or group favors big government then they are left wing--simple as that. Don't make it more complicated than it needs to be. Neocons favor big government, ergo they are left wing. Don't get lost in a byzantine tangle of arcane definitions, misdirection, and disinformation.
Blanket depictions of neoconservatives as redesigned Trotskyites need to be corrected in favor of a more nuanced analysis. In several important respects the neoconservative world outlook has diverged from the Trotskyite one and acquired some striking similarities with Stalinism and German National Socialism. Today's neoconservatives share with Stalin and Hitler an ideology of nationalist socialism and internationalist imperialism. -- Srdia Trifkovic "Neoconservatism - Where Trotsky Meets Stalin and Hitler"Mr. Trifkovic has the right of it: Communists, Fascists, Nazis, and Neocons are all peas in the left wing pod. And as we know, globalists of all stripes and persuasions belong there as well. (I would also add radical Islam to this toxic mix. Perhaps you have seen photographs of Muslim protesters carrying signs saying "Freedom Go to Hell"--trust me, they are not joking in the least. And people wonder why the Far Left loves radical Islam...but we won't go there in this article). Whether they are openly left wing ideologues, or using various "cloaks" such as religion or right wing politics to hide behind, it is the left wing, and in particular the far left, that is the enemy of "we the people." Does that mean I consider all left wing advocates to be evil? Not at all--many of them are essentially decent people (deluded decent people) who have simply not thought things through. They ignore the truth that what may look good on paper can often come apart when confronted with the harsher facts of reality. For instance, "the ends justify the means" leitmotif of leftist strategy ignores the fact that such an attitude provides perfect cover for sociopaths and psychopaths. The far left in particular provides a great hiding place and "playground" for such individuals (and groups). It gives them carte blanche to freely explore and exercise their twisted mental pathologies. Take a look at Pol Pot, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, or Jim Jones...or the situational ethics of the Clintons for that matter, (the Christian angle of Jim Jones has been played up by the left wing media, but Jones was above all else a deeply committed Marxist). "If you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles." Now we know the answer to the first part of Sun Tzu's observation--know your enemy. My next article will deal with the second part--knowing who we are. I will discuss who "we the people" are; what we represent (or at least should represent)--and why it is absolutely essential that "we the people" stand with Trump.
