In just a couple of weeks, we will begin to wrap up what is likely the most momentous election in our lifetimes. Among other things, it will decide the makeup of the House and Senate for the next several years. Unless the Republican party maintains control, we will see the impeachment of Donald Trump, and likely J. D. Vance and the end of MAGA and a conservative revival. The Democrat party has vowed to reopen our borders to unlimited immigration, adopt Socialist policies that have failed wherever and whenever tried, and use the power of government to hunt down and persecute anyone who ever thought of supporting MAGA and Trump.
Consider the platform of the Democrats. They seek to fundamentally transform America into their own image, ignoring the majority concerns about the economy, rising costs, job opportunities, illegal immigration, and similar issues. Instead they focus on things most voters have little interest in. Based on statements by many Democrat candidates, the Democrat platform looks something like:
And a few other things in similar vein. With an agenda like that, it is no wonder they are terrified of fair and honest elections. Rather hard to claim that those things will benefit the country and ordinary people in any way. The only way they could win is by cheating and making sure they don't get caught. The stakes are high, and the incentive to cheat is almost irresistible. Our problems are how to detect it, and what to do about it.
Consider that one of the more popular forms of election manipulation is through mail-in ballots, coupled with dirty voter rolls. The voter rolls are used to determine who should receive ballots, but there are almost no checks to determine if the registration in the rolls is for a legitimate voter or for someone who shouldn't be there, such as a non-citizen. So long as they are in the rolls, they can be sent a ballot, and if the ballot is returned, it will be counted.
In recent years, through unrestricted immigration and poor control over voter registrations, a very large population of illegal immigrant names have been entered into voter rolls across the country. California is only one of the most obvious, with estimates of more than 20% of its registered voters being non-citizens, but every state has some quantity. Even just a few percent can be sufficient to swing the outcome of a critical election.
With the right resources and access, finding these invalid registrations is relatively straightforward and removal is a simple matter. Unfortunately, half the states are "blue" states and are actively obstructing both access and removal. California was recently presented by Federal officials with a list of 20,000 known non-citizens and asked to check its voter rolls to see if any of them had been sent ballots or had voted. State officials have been finding all sorts of ways to slow-walk any checks, and have been actively finding reasons not to comply. As a "sanctuary state" California cherishes its illegals and depends on them to support its far-Left government.
I said earlier that it was immigrant names that were used. Many illegals have been induced to register to vote by NGOs and even state offices, even though such registration is illegal. Once in the system with a legitimate and known address, those registrations can be used without the knowledge of the original individual. Ballots mailed to known addresses can be collected, marked, and returned with very little chance of detection, and a high probability of being counted. A ballot returned for a voter registered in the rolls will be accepted without question, even if it actually came from a ballot factory instead of a legitimate voter. Think of it as a kind of identity theft for elections.
A recent investigation of voting records from the last primary found over 5% of the ballots came from unaccountable sources. In an area that had a majority of Republican voters, examination of the selections found that Democrat candidates received 2-4% more votes than expected from the population statistics, while Republican candidates receive more than 5% fewer votes than expected. While some of these votes could be from people switching parties, and the excess votes from a large turnout, the numbers are suspicious.
While we have come to expect such things from California, the state is far from the only one with problems. Nearly every "blue" state has refused to allow detailed inspection of its voter rolls. Why not? If there is nothing to hide, why wouldn't they welcome assistance in ensuring clean voter rolls? Many states accepted Federal assistance and even ones that thought they were clean found significant numbers of invalid registrations.
Just recently, Wisconsin has been diving deep into public records in search of fraud, not wanting to share the fate of its neighbor Minnesota. Those investigations have had an additional benefit of turning up ineligible voters to the point where applications for absentee ballots are down over 30% in key cities. Did lots of people suddenly decide to vote in person, or were they ghosts that vanished in the morning light?
So what do we do? One "good" aspect is that there will likely be many opportunities to observe cheating in its myriad forms, not just illegal voting, but also dead voters, votes recorded for people living elsewhere, improper ballot harvesting—the methods are legion and more than one will be used. To borrow from a Marine commander: "we are in a target rich environment".
For example, if you get a ballot for someone else, don't discard it. Give it to your local sheriff along with a statement of when you received it, and any supplemental information such as it is for a dead relative, or a prior resident. Each one of these statements and especially ballots is proof of an irregularity. Enough of these and an investigation will be required. Once is interesting, twice is coincidence, more is a pattern. The more problems found before the election is certified, the easier to challenge.
I mentioned the 20,000 non-citizens presented to California. In a way, I hope that it will be discovered that many of them already have votes recorded. Once a ballot envelope is opened and the ballot commingled with all the other ballots, it is impossible to correct the counts. Discovery of a significant number of invalid ballot receipts can invalidate an election.
Officials would likely claim that a few hundred illegal ballots wouldn't be enough to change an outcome, and would try to dismiss any objections. Imagine, though, that 1,000 of those 20,000 non-citizens had voted. If the total number of non-citizens in the rolls was 2 million, and one in 20 had voted then from basic statistics that would say that about 100,000 illegal votes had been accepted and counted. That number is enough to change the outcome of many races across the state.
Courts might try to argue that anyone challenging such results don't have standing for a challenge, but considering that every illegal vote effectively cancels a legitimate vote, potentially everyone who voted is affected and should be a legitimate challenger, especially in a civil rights challenge asserting disenfranchisement.
A challenge could result in delay of certification until an audit was conducted and potentially even a forensic investigation. It might even mean that the election would have to be redone under more strict controls to preclude fraud. Opposition would be extreme since no Federal office, no State office, and no initiative could be filled or settled until the results were certified. Public attention would make it nearly impossible to sweep the irregularities under the rug.
For decades, officials and media have been telling us our elections are fair, honest, and free of significant fraud. For just as long many have been saying that our elections are easily manipulated and results have often been rigged. Who is right? This could be the election that decides the issue.
One thing is sure, though, that given the Democrat propensity to deny any claims of election fraud and to block any investigations into our elections, it is more than imperative that they not assume power until our elections are secured. As Republicans, we have our own problems, but the great majority of us want honest elections and representation by those who truly represent us, regardless of party. To achieve that in this current midterm election, Republicans must keep the House and Senate. We must succeed even in the face of substantial cheating.
We succeed by turning out in full force, voting in numbers so great that either we overcome any attempts at manipulation, or we vote in such numbers that any cheating becomes so great as to be obvious. Imagine a situation where there were significantly more votes recorded than there were voters. That alone would be enough.
We need to turn out and vote in numbers that make the election too big to rig—numbers too big to fail. Let the pollsters conduct their fantasy polls and try to discourage us from voting. Let the media try to tell us we have no hope of winning, that we should just relax and enjoy. Let them try to tell us that boys would rather be girls, and Hamas are really nice people, and that we have a country that is no longer worthy of respect and does not deserve our protection. Shall we be the generation that throws away 250 years of the American dream of freedom, hope and prosperity in exchange for the Siren song of Socialism?
I think not! It is time to vote. Vote like your future depends on it. Vote like your children's future depends on it, because it does. Let no one tell you that you are insignificant, that your one vote doesn't really matter. Just as one fraudulent vote cancels one honest vote, so one honest vote cancels one fraudulent vote. Time to stand up and be counted.
