How dare you criticize Precious?

Bernie to Hillary: Hey, you're the one who ran against Obama, not me

Quick quiz: Which living Democrat former president not from Georgia once said Obama's entire persona was a big fairy tale? Bonus: He said it at a time when his wife was desperate to land a blow on the guy because her expected presidential coronation was going down in flames. Any idea who it might have been? I'll give you some time to think about it. But it's 2016 and we're blessedly almost done with the Obama presidency, and America's ex-wife simply can't bear the thought that anyone would speak ill of Precious. This is the sort of situation where she probably doesn't need to be reminded of fairly recent history, but as is usually the case with Hillary, you tee it up for your critics and you watch it fly (See Below):

As I watch this exchange, it is not lost on me that I'm rooting for a socialist in a contest to determine who loves Obama most. Yes. Occasionally I do wake up screaming in the night at the realization that conservatives everywhere are rooting for a socialist in a campaign for president - only to the point of the nomination, of course, but still. Then again, I rooted for Obama against her in 2008, and I'd do it again - even knowing everything we now know about the kind of president he would be (none of which was actually hard to predict). The problems with Hillary go so far beyond ideology, or even corruption, really. I've never seen a person pursue the presidency with such a sense of entitlement and sheer indignation at that thought that anyone might dare to deny her the prize. Al Gore probably came the closest with his eye-rolling and head-shaking at the rube George W. Bush that he condescended to share the debate stage with. But Hillary takes it farther by factors of hundreds. She has nothing but a last name and access to people who know how to play power politics, and she shamelessly deploys all of it to push aside anyone else who might try to get what she's believed since 1992 (at least) was rightfully hers. She's not so much a prospective leader as she is an actor trying to look like one - and a bad one at that. The public sees what she is. The Democrat voter base doesn't like her at all. Party leaders are swimming against the tide in trying to persuade their voters to come and get reasonable and accept that Hillary's the one they have to get behind. They don't want to. Bernie Sanders would be a terrible president - as would any socialist - but if you're an avowed leftist and not a party regular looking for work, why wouldn't you prefer a guy who sincerely believes the same things you do and isn't just in it for the power and the payola that can be had through a phony foundation that depends on your ability to wield that power? She knows it's crumbling, so she'll say anything - not that this is new. How dare you criticize President Obama! As if she wouldn't rip him to shreds all day long if she thought it would benefit her to do so. Seriously, is there anyone left who thinks this woman is sincere? Really? Because I'd love to hear why.
