The press is a willfully ignorant advocacy group

Watch as the dullards at CBS News try to figure out why ObamaCare rates are spiking

Charlie Rose, Norah O’Donnell, and Gayle King are all very wise people who know what they're talking about. Frankly, it's tough to overestimate their brilliance. They're smarter than you, smarter than me, and their analysis should always be considered sacrosanct. For years, they wisely ignored the warnings of conservatives who argued that ObamaCare would destroy the American healthcare system. They scoffed at concerns about rate hikes, evaporating choices in terms of plans and doctors, diminished or rationed care, and stuck to the company line about "saving the average family" money. You were mocked when you claimed that ObamaCare was designed to fail, and you were told to shut up and believe them when they repeated the administration lies about ObamaCare costing less than your cell phone. When it started to become clear you'd been right all along, you were ignored. The newsroom geniuses were your betters, and they were calling the shots.
Now, as ObamaCare is imploding just two weeks before the coronation of their queen, the smart people are utterly baffled. Check out the following exchange from CBS This Morning: "We need a bigger understanding of why this is happening," Norah O'Donnell said. Charlie Rose agreed, saying “We sure do." “Because the idea was not only to spread coverage around," a frustrated O'Donnell added. "But that by spreading the coverage around, not only would it help people get more preventative care, but then it would ultimately bring the costs down, and instead, the premiums are skyrocketing." Charlie Rose, a serious newsman who wants answers, replied “And so the question is, what happened?”

“Yeah," said O'Donnell, "and who’s profiting on this?” Virtually every conservative on Earth predicted this exact scenario, and they did so well before the law passed. The law's architect admitted it was passed thanks to the ignorance of the American people. Yet these inane talking heads have the gall to ignore all of that and feign ignorance? This is, and always was, all part of the plan. The pivot to single payer is underway and the media is exposing itself as little more than an advocacy group. Never forget their willful ignorance - and never again trust a word out of their mouths.
