Harry Reid's ignorance

Taking callous disregard to a new level

It seems to me that before Harry Reid accuses decent Americans of phony claims he should find proof.

When a person is denied lifesaving medication or is deprived of a trusted physician, it is both frightening and frustrating. Then to hear from someone in a position of power -- on TV -- that their stories are trumped up takes callous disregard to a new level. One does not have to leave the borders of their own community to see and hear instances of a drop in the level of care. These are real human beings, with real health issues and with justifiable concerns. It is obvious that Mr. Reid is so far removed from the trials and tribulations of average Americans that he speaks from ignorance. What is unforgivable is that he does not educate himself before he opens his mouth. Arnold Avery Englewood, FL
