Vice-President Mike Pence can save our country To do so, however, he must grab hold of the power the Constitution grants specifically to him – the exclusionary power to nullify and invalidate Electoral votes from those States where he believes the election process was so flawed and fraudulent, criminal and corrupt, there is no possible remedy otherwise. Of course, wielding such power is the very definition of Tyranny – the Webster Dictionary definition being “absolute power vested in a single ruler.” This sort of Tyranny is neither good nor bad on its face but its mere existence is anathema to a Democratic Society and quickly corrosive to any person attempting to wield its powers.

We've got 5 days to save America. And, the only way to save America is to forbid the bastardization of our electoral process – to prevent the enthroning of a lie at the heart of our democratic Republic. The 12^th Amendment Plan: A Pence Path to a Contingent Election

In the past several days pro-Trump pundits began floating the idea that Vice-President/President of the Senate, Mike Pence, actually possesses plenary power to accept or reject Electoral votes he believes are fraudulent or fraudulently certified.  These Trump-supporters point to the 12^th Amendment as the basis for this allegation. However, an unbiased reading of the 12^th Amendment does not at first glance support this perspective. But... recent scholarship makes a compelling case for the assertion that the 12^th Amendment indeed grants the Vice President/President of the Senate such plenary powers over acceptance of Electoral votes. 

Honor or Infamy: Pathway to a Contingent Election 

Our Legislators may not know it but they have only two options from which to choose: Honor or Infamy. There is no middle way. No temporizing, dissimulating, prevaricating. Honor or Infamy. Posterity will allow no other choice.  In this moment, the old paradigms no longer apply. Trump voters, Republican voters, will never again tolerate milquetoast Republicans and certainly not RINO Republicans.  They will not tolerate Legislators who fail to mount a conspicuous and aggressive campaign to nullify/decertify the slates of Electors from the Six Swing States. And if betrayed, these voters, all 74 million of them, will mount Primary challenges and Recall Petitions without end.
