The 2030 Great White Wave

Oct 27, 2017 — Dr. Brad Lyles

The 2030 Great White Wave, European migration to the west
By 2030, twenty million Western European wretches yearning to breathe free will beg admission to the world’s largest refugee destination– the United States.

Too late the Democrat Party will understand the catastrophic consequences for their brand.

Perhaps the Party can take solace in the progressive history of the progressive in U.S. politics. Perhaps they will recall that Marcuse and his acolytes, all beneficiaries of the benevolence of their new country, sought immediately to undermine that country. They’d escaped Marxism in Germany but missed its caress with a lover’s passion, and realized they could remake their beloved Marxist society, in the U.S., with radical ease. By today’s standards, they were right.

Seeing Down Through the #NeverTrumpers’ Foggy Bottom

Sep 12, 2016 — Dr. Brad Lyles

There are none so blind as those who will not see—John Heywood, 1546, adapted from Jeremiah 5:21

Many of our Conservative brethren are so blinded by hubris they fail to recognize Conservatives have had no choice ever since Donald Trump was chosen the Republican candidate for President.

There is no choice. No matter the wishes of some in our movement, there is no counterpoint option other than Hillary. Trump. Hillary. Trump. Hillary. No other options to choose from. Of course, Johnson and Steien are “options” but only insofar as choosing either will help/harm Clinton or Trump. Of course, “not voting” is an option as well, but this merely withholds support (and a needed vote) from the candidate one feels is, in the end, the least dangerous.

Aug 27, 2016 — Dr. Brad Lyles

“Never divide your forces in the face of a superior enemy.” This famous dictum has been a truism of war for 5,000 years. Heedless, our brothers and sisters in the Establishment, and in #NeverTrump, believe they can summon victory from the ashes of a conflagration of their own making. Worse, they continue to pursue their divisive actions despite their inability to define the victory they are pursuing.

In a time of greatest peril for our nation, perhaps the last time Conservatives/Republicans will have access to national office, our #NeverTrump fellows, and their coconspirators, including Jeb Bush, John Kasich, and the National Review, etc., hollow out the only movement capable of defending us from the hideous consequences of a Hillary Presidency.

The Enemy of My Enemy

Aug 13, 2016 — Dr. Brad Lyles

“The enemy of my enemy is my friend”—ancient Sanskrit proverb, 450 BC.

Republicans believe they face an unprecedented choice: To Trump or not To Trump. This is ludicrous. There is no choice. Did Roosevelt have a choice about whether to ally with Stalin in WWII?

“The enemy of my enemy is my friend” sums up about all there is to know about “a choice.” Conservatives do not face a choice in this election. They are not permitted a choice. The idea of a choice, at this point, is irresponsible. If Trump does not win, Hillary, or some Democrat, will win. But it is not that these individuals will win or lose. What matters is whether their entourages of tens of thousands of advisers and appointees, win or lose. So which should a Conservative rather have, one million new Hillary minions or one million new Trump minions? Easy answer.

Essential Islam

Mar 23, 2016 — Dr. Brad Lyles

Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.—George Santayana

Islam: The word, Islam, means submission, not peace. (Yes, Bush got it wrong). Allah commands believers to submit but also to compel unbelievers into submission.

Trump Says “Bye-bye” to FOX

Jan 27, 2016 — Dr. Brad Lyles

Trump pounded another stake into the heart of today’s so-called Mainstream Media.

Trump’s decision to withdraw from the coming Republican debate will be financially devastating for Fox News. And, Trump’s decision to withdraw will almost certainly harm Fox more than Trump.

But why did Trump take this path at this time?

National Review—a Titanic Failure

Jan 23, 2016 — Dr. Brad Lyles

It is discouraging to find the National Review, home to a profundity of prominent pundits, attacking the frontrunner, Donald Trump, on the very eve of the first primary contest. “Conservatives against Trump?” Really?

Even granting the authors good intentions, they accomplish nothing more than ‘rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.’

“Conservatives against Trump” misses the point entirely. None of us regular guy and gal Conservatives out here in flyover-land, many well read (well, at least having read The Liberty Amendments) are encumbered by the ridiculous ages-old insistence upon purity in Conservative candidates.

Is There an Honorable Reason Trump is Trashing Cruz?

Jan 23, 2016 — Dr. Brad Lyles

In the past few weeks Donald Trump has initiated his anti-Cruz campaign, referring to Cruz as a nasty man, and prior as a maniac, usually referencing the time Cruz called Mitch McConnell a liar—on the Senate floor—even though McConnell had publicly demonstrated serial lying in every arena on the planet.

Trump, as is his signature wont, then doubled down on Cruz, indicting Cruz’ honesty in failing to report a Goldman Sachs loan on two forms instead of one form, Cruz’ alleged bias against the ethanol industry because of ‘big oil connections,’ and his potential disqualification for the Presidency in that he is allegedly not a “natural born citizen,” given Cruz was born in Canada.

Grand Slam x 7!

Jan 15, 2016 — Dr. Brad Lyles

GRAND SLAM x 7! Trump, Cruz, and Rubio were the heavy hitters last night. Each crushed the ball over the fence and into the smirks of contemptuous intelligentsia eating foie gras in front of their 80” big screen TV’s. Christie and Kasich scored impressively as well. Bush and Carson held their own.

Trump for Dictator

Jan 6, 2016 — Dr. Brad Lyles

“Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely”—Lord Acton

A Dictator Trump, if benign, is our only hope for salvation.

A President Trump would be bound by his own sense of propriety if not by the Constitution. The current Dictator, Obama, operates without any regard for propriety or the Constitution.

A Dictator Trump would excel a President Trump because a Dictator Trump would assume the powers of an Obama, but would use them for good rather than evil, i.e. to deconstruct the mammoth blood-sucking Administrative State evermore crushing our nation.

ISIS isn’t the point

Dec 18, 2015 — Dr. Brad Lyles

Sun Tzu and Mohammad agree upon the primary nature of warfare: “War is deception.” Sadly, our media, pundits and Republican candidates all fail to understand this lesson, assuming they are even aware of it.

If they were aware of this millennia-old admonition, they would all understand ISIS is not the point.

Even were ISIS to spread terror across the U.S. in ten or one hundred more San Bernardino’s, ISIS would still not be the point.

The rise of Donald Reagan?

Dec 16, 2015 — Dr. Brad Lyles

Dare we? Is it time to veer out of the sensible lane and into the fantasyland of pondering whether any candidate, much less The Donald, might compare with the greatest President of the 20th century, Ronald Reagan?

Certainly, Senator Ted Cruz is thought to possess the aptitude for greatness, perhaps more so than any other candidate. He is principled, studiedly Conservative, and courageous. In fact, the ceaseless courage he has demonstrated in the Senate has paradoxically burdened Cruz in the public eye with a distorted reputation as a rebel and malcontent, unable to work together or get along with others.

Also, though Cruz is a gifted speaker, he does not in this rise to the level of Reagan, who was able to articulate, but also to inspire. Likely refined by his long journey to this moment, it is understandable Cruz speaks with polite assertiveness rather than stentorian declaration.

The Liberal Gene

Dec 10, 2015 — Dr. Brad Lyles

I’m not making this up.

Donald Trump’s Muslim Proposal inflamed so much passion among Liberals they unconsciously revealed themselves to be the wild-eyed, emotional, illogical sorts we always knew them to be. The hysteria was so widespread, however, it begged further investigation into the eons-old question: Where do Liberals come from?

Trump’s Proposal Strategically Brilliant

Dec 9, 2015 — Dr. Brad Lyles

Trump is a political genius! His Monday evening declaration – that we ban Muslims entering the country - “until our representatives can figure out what’s going on,” - is strategically magnificent! And the post-concussion polls tell us this.

But aside from the populist allure of the content of Trump’s message, his strategy is accomplishing something far more important for our culture. His declaration has instantaneously transformed the global information space occupied by the mainstream media, the Left, and establishment Republican political hacks.

Trump’s simple declaration is succeeding in highlighting the arrogant presumptions of the media/ruling class elites, calling them out for who they are and what they stand for, and in their own words.

Abrogation Explanation for Islamic Conflagration

Nov 23, 2015 — Dr. Brad Lyles

The Quranic doctrine of abrogation provides a rational explanation for Islam’s mysterious duality, its simultaneous nature as a religion of domination/partnership, violence/passivity, supremacism/egalitarianism, and violent jihad/spiritual jihad.

In fact, the doctrine of abrogation provides the only option for understanding Islam, at least the portion of Islam posing a threat to the non-Islamic world. Understanding abrogation permits a non-Muslim to understand how the transformation of Islam’s prophet from gentle religious leader in Mecca to conquering warlord in Medina followed the change in his earlier peaceful divine revelations to his later violent divine revelations*, the shift from “there is no compulsion in religion” in Mecca to “slay the unbelievers wherever you find them” in Medina. Abrogation is the linchpin to understanding Islamic violence, terror, and conquest.

ISIS Crisis Entices

Nov 20, 2015 — Dr. Brad Lyles

It is a truism that the most important thing is never the obvious thing—the enticing thing. Currently, ISIS is the most enticing topic in the world of talking heads. Yet even though ISIS entices, far more dangerous events are at play in the world: The coming of a nuclear Iran.

Yet ISIS is of some importance. Despite all the well-deserved attention upon ISIS, however, the majority of media consultants miss the point entirely. ISIS is not significant because of what it’s doing in the world. It is significant because what it is doing in the world draws legitimacy from the foundational texts of Islam. ISIS even does us the favor of publishing the Qur’anic justification for its practices.

Conflicted We Stand About Islam—But We Don’t Have To

Any reasonable stance about the nature of Islam invites both reasoned and unreasoned Commentary, and from all sides of the spectrum of belief systems.

Should We Fear Islam?

Mar 26, 2015 — Dr. Brad Lyles

Islam conquered most of the known world within 100 years of Mohammed’s death in 632, creating an empire larger even than Alexander’s.

Initially, Mohammed shared his experience of divine revelation peacefully. This was not successful. After 13 years of preaching in Mecca, Mohammed was unable to persuade more than 150 converts to the Faith. The Qur’an from this period, termed the “Meccan” Qur’an, otherwise considered the ‘peaceful’ Qur’an, contains the bulk of the Qur’an’s comforting ‘live and let live’ passages, including Mohammed’s revelations that “you have your religion and I have mine,” or “there should be no compulsion in religion.”

None so Blind

Mar 16, 2015 — Dr. Brad Lyles

Americans no longer possess the visceral understanding of nuclear warfare possessed by inhabitants of the ‘60’s, ‘70’s and ‘80’s. Gone too are the days of Dr. Benjamin Spock climbing over nuclear facility fences preaching unilateral disarmament. The current generation of Americans, not seeing, not understanding, do not know they risk everything.
