CNN: Support for ObamaCare plummets to 35% in new poll

This is not how it was supposed to be. Early in December President Obama announced a new initiative that was supposed to turn the unpleasant tide of negative public opinion. If you recall, the plan was to give a speech a day extolling the virtues of the Affordable Care Act so that even the dumb schmucks on the right would be forced to recognize its brilliance.

Poll: 54% of Democrats now agree with Ted Cruz - want one year ObamaCare delay

Back when Ted Cruz led his filibuster demanding a one year ObamaCare delay, Democrats couldn't wait to tear into him. He, and members of his party, were pilloried as "terrorists," "arsonists," and "political hostage takers." There was no language too strong for Democrats as they rushed to denounce the opposition. America had to be warned. Ted Cruz was evil, ObamaCare is a perfect piece of legislation, and delays would not be tolerated.

Barbara Walters thought Obama was 'going to be the next messiah'

It's not surprising to learn that a far left talking head once worshipped Barack Obama with an almost religious fervor. Obama's fanatical support has always appeared faith-based, and there's an idolatry there that is, in a word, creepy. We've watched it play out for years and nothing about it is particularly shocking.

Surprise! Medicaid isn't free - it's a poorly advertised predatory loan

Just so you know, I opted to skip the whole "Of course it's not free. Nothing is" part, so I could get right to the point... It's called "estate recovery" and although it's been around for 20 years, most Americans have never heard of it. Sadly, this arcane bit of Medicaid fine print is about to become much more familiar. Basically, what it says is this: If you're over 55 and are on Medicaid, when you die the state can seize your assets in an effort to repay the cost of your care.

Obama via Twitter: 'May your Christmas include a conversation about health insurance.'

This Christmas, while you're singing about Santa Claus, celebrating the end of the year, and opening gifts with your family, you should know: You might be ignoring your Presidential homework assignment. Your celebration is probably wasting valuable time that could be spent shilling for his "signature legislation."

Desperation? With his second term in ruins, Obama calls up Podesta

The disastrous launch of Healthcare.gov cost the President the trust of even his faithful followers. This led to increased scrutiny of the Affordable Care Act implementation as a whole, revealing not only several years of presidential lies, but also the unworkable, impractical, and unsustainable nature of the law itself. Conservatives had known all of this for a long time, but the low-info folks took a long time to catch on. Now that they have, the President's second term has twisted itself into a lame duck meltdown from which the Commander in Chief seems incapable of recovering.

South Carolina may be about to free itself from ObamaCare ...here's how.

If there's one thing Americans do best, it's problem solving. When they see an obstacle, they find a way around it. As popular support for ObamaCare continues to fall from its already dismal position, it's become clear to everyone - even former supporters - that the Affordable Care Act is the country's "problem du jour." So, people are looking for ways to extricate themselves from the President’s mess. So far, they've have limited success, but that may be about to change.

As many as 70% of California's doctors are boycotting ObamaCare

Ah, California. "Planet Cali." America's great liberal playground, and home to all those movie star junkies who just love to tell you how you should be living your life. If there's one place that (despite its imploding economy) Democrats love to view as their Mecca, it's the Southern half of the left coast.

Politico Magazine: Obama NEVER met one-on-one with Kathleen Sebelius from 2010-2013

If you were the President, and you'd fought tooth and nail for an unpopular law which had come to bear your name, wouldn't you make a point of being hands-on with the implementation? Wouldn't you be constantly meeting with the woman charged with making sure your pet project didn't turn into a chaotic mess that would completely derail your second term agenda? Wouldn't you realize that you'd placed almost all of your eggs in a basket called "ObamaCare," and wouldn't you be constantly engaged so that no one dropped it?

Obama administration about to give wind farms a free pass on killing bald eagles

Last month, the Obama administration forced Duke Energy to pay a staggering $1 million fine. The reason? Their wind farms were chewing up protected species of birds at an alarming rate. Despite the fact that thousands of endangered birds die this way each day, it was the first time the administration had fined a "green energy" concern for what are known as "non-purposeful takings."

Harvard poll: Young people don't like ObamaCare, want Obama recalled

As long as the name "Barack Obama" has been associated with presidential politics, there has been one constant. He was the hip, charming, tech-savvy politician that young people loved. His 2008 campaign was centered, almost exclusively, around this concept. Since he was elected, virtually every one of his policy "successes" has hinged upon the idea that he could rely on the grass roots support of America's youth. Even now, his signature legislation fails certain doom if young people don't buy into it.

Healthcare.gov pricetag was $1 Billion and counting ..as of September 30th

If you asked ten people how much U.S. taxpayers spent on the embarrassingly non-functional Healthcare.gov website and exchange, you'd probably get ten different answers. The official number offered by the Government Accountability Office is $394 million. While that's an awful lot of money, nobody believed it was anywhere close to an accurate figure. The more popular estimate was in the $600 million range but, now, even that seems downright reasonable.

Obama launches a three week effort to tell you how awesome ObamaCare is ...again

The increasingly poorly named "Affordable Care Act" has been law since 2010. You're supposed to love it. If you were doing your part, you'd shut your mouth and stop complaining about how it's driving up prices, cancelling millions of policies, and separating you from your doctor. Unfortunately, you just refuse to play ball. You don' like the law, President Obama's approval ratings are in freefall, and the Dems are terrified as they head into the 2014 elections. So, in order to save the day, Obama is going to spend the next three weeks doing what he does best.

BarackObama.com wants you to host a Newtown massacre 'anniversary event'

Last week, they wanted to help you destroy your holiday gatherings by turning them into ObamaCare signup seminars. That was irritating and weird, but it was nothing compared to what the far-left crackpots at BarackObama.com have come up with now. On December 14th, it will have been one year since the horrific attack in Newtown Connecticut. Those in charge of the President's private activist network have decided that you should use the memory of the victims to advance their agenda.

Hey CNN, how's the newly relaunched Healthcare.gov working? Not so good, eh?

If I were a good little liberal toiling away as a mainstream media drone, I'd stop doing these "let's test the website" stories. CNN has been trying, for two months, to get one of their "journalists" through the sign up process while on-air. We assume it's all part of their plan to tell you how wonderfully easy President Obama's new system can be. They spent years telling you it was going to be great, and now they're desperate for a small slice of web-based vindication.
