Two weeks ago, I wrote about the Democrats' "Bernie Sanders Problem." Basically, I argued that Sanders may be something the Dems have never had to face before: a candidate they can't buy off. What if, I wondered, he was really in this for principled reasons? If the party has nothing to offer him, or if he really is running just because he feels it's the right thing to do, would he stick to his guns and refuse to drop out?
Is it possible that the Dems are facing their own "contested convention" nightmare? Get ready to pop the popcorn, because Bernie is vowing to fight all the way to Philly.
