I suppose the Democrats could view Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski as their own little two-point conversion, tying up the score at the end and sending the game into overtime. But if that's what happens, the Betsy DeVos confirmation vote isn't going to turn out like the Super Bowl - except in this respect: The team being support by most of the Trump-haters (with apologies to my colleagues in the Atlanta office) is going to lose again.
