They're pulling down $174,000 per year, plus benefits. That's roughly $3,300 a week - but remember, Congress will only be in session for 113 days this year. I know what you're thinking. "How can our elected officials be expected to live on such a paltry sum? Why are we treating them like animals? Can't something be done?"
