If you know two things about Jennifer Granholm, you probably know that A: She ran the state of Michigan into the ground like a gubernatorial kamikaze pilot, and B: Her biggest claim to fame is an epic appearance on the Dating Game back in the 70's. Evidence of the former is everywhere, though the state has rebounded under Republican Rick Snyder. Evidence of the latter is harder to come by, because the once-prolific videos of her Dating Game moment have been scrubbed from the web.
Maybe that's because, deep in the nightmarish bowels of the DNC, rumors are swirling that she's looking to become the party's new chairwoman. The disgraced Debbie Wasserman Schultz will be stepping down Friday and, if the scuttlebutt is true, Granholm's name is on the short list to fill her shoes:The Comment section of online publications is the new front in the ongoing Cancel Culture Battle.
