The US and Canadian governments are attempting to quietly pass legislation (CODEX in the US and Bill C-51/52 in Canada) that is designed to regulate natural supplements and vitamins under the control of ‘Big Pharma’ and the medical profession. Codex and Bill C-51 are proposing the need for this legislation under two claims. First is the ‘need to protect the public from the dangers posed by such supplements’. Secondly, they claim that these supplements are non effective anyway.
