In a recent comparison test by U.S.-based Motor Trend magazine, the all-new 2011 Elantra was pitted against compact sedan rivals from Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Kia, Mazda, Toyota, and Volkswagen. A similar test was also held by Edmunds.com in which the Elantra faced the all-new Civic and Cruze. The Elantra earned a first-place finish in both tests thanks to best-in-class standard fuel economy, a long list of standard safety features, and strong value.
