Until the Israel-Hamas war I'd say 99 percent of the time most Hollyweird celebritards would give you the same wrong far-left opinion of commenting on current events of the day. I find it hard to believe their isn't some organized push behind celebs' collective bad takes. My take on the war is nuanced. I absolutely condemn the terrorist attacks of Hamas and do admit that Israel does have a right to defend itself but it doesn't have an excuse to commit war crimes. I don't think lumping everyone in Gaza with Hamas is fair as not everyone there is Hamas. For example there are Christians who live there. The tragedy is I don't see how things don't escalate or repeat. Even if a cease fire occurs if foreign aid is given to a government that offsets internal terrorist attack funding with foreign aid deposits used for domestic programs how another attack won't eventually occur again. If there is no ceasefire then the chances of other countries like Iran, Syria, or Turkey getting involved on Hamas's side and the US and other western allies dragged into yet another Middle East quagmire at best or possible WWIII at worst considering Iran is aligned with both Russia and China. I wish this was would end but I don't see it being likely considering the hostility between Jews and Islamists go back centuries. Also on the subject of Israel I think they get the better end of the allyship considering all the money we give them normally despite the fact that historically they stole our nuclear secrets, attacked the USS Liberty in a false flag attempt to blame Egypt, and either had foreknowledge of or potentially actively participated in 9/11. The Dancing Israeli intelligence operatives documenting the attacks on September 11th absolutely existed. Circumstially supposed Israeli Art Students were installing an art installation on the upper floors of the tower which theoretically could have contained an explosive device. None of these art students were in the towers on September 11 though. I'd honestly prefer we just stay out of it considering the past transgressions Israel has made against the US and the fact that as I previously stated the animosity between Jews and Islamists goes back centuries.
