I rest my case by telling the sympathizers and apologizers for the kneelers to quit using an obviously lame excuse. Get on your feet, put your hand over your heart, face the flag . . . and "STFU!" Just play the game
The subject for discussion is "racial inequality". I have heard that phrase for the umpteenth time over the past few days. And it is infuriating!
While the phrase is not new it is now ridiculously over-used to describe the reason why some NFL players refuse to honor the nation's flag and anthem. Black players, mysteriously accompanied by a few sympathizing white players, "take a knee" during the traditional patriotic presentation occurring before every NFL game. These dolts (the best insult to describe jocks, among other neanderthals) refuse to stand respectfully still and silent as dictated by the league's rules. Stunned fans in the stadiums and watching on TV, are asking, "Why are they doing that?" More crudely, some are screaming, "WTF?!"
