It is becoming increasingly clear as President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration approaches that the attendance boycott by lawmakers is being driven by the most radical left-wing group in the United States Congress.
I am referring to the truly awful neo-Marxist Congressional Progressive Caucus, which currently has 75 members, all of whom are Democrats (except for Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont who is an Independent). The Congressional Progressive Caucus has 75 members in Congress. Of the 75, 74 are House members and one is a member of the Senate.
