Let's talk about evidence


There's a lot of talk these days about evidence, no evidence, lack of evidence, and the evidence that points to this or that. As a noun, evidence means: information, indication, or grounds. In other words, something to back up a claim. When it comes to evidence or proof, source is very important. Who do we believe? Who is proven to be reliable? There is very little unbiased evidence available to the public. Why is that? Because it is possible for a determined and experienced operative to bury the truth under so many layers that it is difficult or impossible to get to the bottom. There are laws that protect the government from truth seekers. For example-you can get copies of every communication, if you are willing to pay the cost and have the money. They are not cheap. Then there is the tangled web of electronic evidence which recent events are showing to be almost impenetrable, unless you are a hacker. Finally, you have every talking head giving their version of the truth. I fear "the whole truth" has become the most recent victim of our society. Without it we will surely lose our way.
