When a President and his policies are popular, you can count on one thing. He'll be in demand for the Midterm campaigns. Everyone is looking for a little extra bump in the polls, so if you're a Democrat trying to unseat a powerful incumbent, you want all the help you can get. Of course that's if you have a popular Commander in Chief. Dems, sadly, do not.
