Many Questions Surround Obama Awards


In this era of “ObamaNation” we are learning that some things that were once held in relatively high esteem and even treasured, are now nothing but hollow shells of pretentious platitudes that are presented in hopes of currying favor with someone who holds a title that once had greater meaning and importance. Two of these jaded things come to mind with the recent Nobel Peace Prize and the University of Michigan’s prestigious Doctor of Laws, being given to Barack H. Obama. There is every reason to suspect that these awards were given not for any worthy accomplishments but mostly to place the presenters in the good graces of the receiver.
