Understand this about the media's pursuit of agendas: It's often not so much how they cover stories, as it is which stories they choose to cover at all. Let a bunch of people on social media start using the hashtag #IndictHillary, and I seriously doubt it gets any attention. A bunch of people on social media wanting something is not a story.
Unless, of course, it gives the media an excuse to pay attention to something they already want to pay attention to. In that case, even something as stupid as idiots demanding that a fictional male character be given a boyfriend might qualify for the use of those precious reporting resources they keeping telling us they don't have enough of.
