Over the weekend, I visited a friend in Detroit. He was complaining about Trump and I was forced to admit that I shared many of his concerns. The President tends to be unpleasantly boorish, he shoots his mouth off a lot, and I've made no secret of the fact that I see a lot of chaos in this White House.
"But," I argued, "who really cares? If the things he does are things that I support, what difference does the admittedly messy window dressing make?"
