Speaking of normalizing - Since I last had to choose a new primary care physician just a few short years ago, my new patient paperwork required - to check a box for how I identified (male, female and 4 other choices plus an other box; to check a box with my preferred pronouns with an other box in case they weren't listed; check a box with the gender I was assigned at birth and a few other than normal to me questions. I tried to avoid filling out some of the questions but the paperwork would not submit without completed answers. My last medical yearly physical felt almost the same - my health is now handled by box checkers instead of doctors...
