As they're forced to acknowledge growing concerns about Nancy Pelosi's competence, many prominent Democrats have started calling for Nancy Pelosi to resign as House Minority Leader. Apparently, just because the woman presided over the collapse of their party, they think they can just toss her in the political dumpster with folks like Anthony Weiner. Well, they'd better think again.
Nancy Pelosi is a national treasure and - as I said yesterday - we should all do our part to keep her right where she is.
Fortunately, Pelosi seems ready for the fight. She's "paving the way for a new generation" or something, and she has no intention of letting a bunch of Democrat rabble-rousers kick her to the curb.
