I don't know if this was Bill DiBlasio's idea, but someone in New York got the brilliant notion that Colin Kaepernick should be allowed to visit the prison at Rikers Island and address the inmates there with a "message of hope and inspiration."
Those not loving the idea included the prison guards' union, who pointed out that at Rikers Island they are the cops - the very people Kaepernick goes around slandering as abusive brutes.
