There was a time in this country when, if a prominent member of an administration had done what you're about to see, people would have been angry. A supposed truth-teller laughing at the concept of transparency from his position behind the State Department podium would have sparked outrage. Sadly, those days are long gone.
We've been lied to so many times, about so many things and with such spectacular hubris, that no one bats an eye when the mask slips.
