The following letter was published in the Hamilton Spectator newspaper on Wednesday.
So the Supreme Court of Canada thinks the recitation of a prayer prior to city council meetings somehow infringes on freedom of conscience and religion. One is tempted to remark dryly that the court’s ruling itself infringes on same, but it might be more fruitful to note that this is entirely consistent with the anti-religious – and, especially, anti-Christian – agenda the court has been espousing for decades now.
