ROGERS, Ark., -- Most Americans believe they are safe from obscene language on television, but the FCC has ruled otherwise. When U2 singer Bono used the F-word on live TV, thousands of complaints flooded the FCC. Their response? They ruled that this word was acceptable on broadcast TV, except in sexual situations.
