On Tuesday, we talked about how the Cruz camp was hoping that the announcement of Carly Fiorina as Cruz's VP pick would give them a little media bounce. The goal was to put Tuesday's losses in the rear view mirror, build some positive steam, and bury the foul smelling corpse of Cruz's "deal" with John Kasich.
I pointed out that the bargain with Kasich was about as well-received as your alcoholic Uncle showing up on Christmas morning, and argued that - in the long term - latching on to Kasich would do more harm than good.
