Lets be honest - our Dear Leader has dropped his marbles. The Carbon Tax Rebate is not a benefit.
We pay an additional tax on our power, natural gas and fuel. The government then sends a bit of that tax money back as a rebate.
This is like being mugged for your wallet and getting bus fare to get home. Am I supposed to thank the mugger for being so kind?
Canada now is like trying to clean a barn - so much manure and too small a shovel.
