One of the most obvious, unwarranted, and egregious examples of Obama-era over-regulation is the infamous "Waters of the United States" rule. It gave the EPA incredibly broad regulatory leverage against property owners, farmers, and basically anyone who's land bordered or contained a body of H2O. As has been pointed out many times, this could range anywhere from dry creek beds to lakes, rivers, and even puddles.
It was federal overreach at its worst and, yesterday, President Trump began the process of rolling it back.
