Both Obama and Hillary made no secret of their disdain for the coal industry, and of their intention to do as much damage to it as they could. In fact, one of the reasons Donald Trump is now president is Hillary's declaration that she was going to destroy a lot of coal industry jobs, which didn't sit too well in formerly blue Pennsylvania.
It's only the start of what needs to be done, but Trump is acting quickly where he can to reverse Obama's regulatory assault on the coal industry, and that includes a bill he signed last week that eliminates the costly Stream Protection Rule:
