Here's just how Orwellian the American college campus has become. A student government president suspends one of his vice presidents (apparently he has the authority to do that, or he doesn't but he did it anyway) because of an opinion she expressed. Then, he informs everyone that his action in no way violated her freedom of speech.
Next: I consume a chicken and the slaughtered chicken is entirely unaffected by what happened.

This will not do, you realize, the force of the new American fascism came down quickly in the form of a 50-day suspension from her post:The Comment section of online publications is the new front in the ongoing Cancel Culture Battle.
