I had a great call the day after the election from a black woman named Abby. She told me she had always voted Democrat, but this time she decided to “give the Republicans a chance,” mainly because she had taken a hard look at the Democrats track record and tactics and had determined that they really hadn’t delivered anything positive for people like her.
