It's July, folks. July.

Global warming update: There's still snow on the ground in Buffalo

You remember the Snowvember storm that slammed Buffalo, right? It forced the Bills out of a scheduled home game. It piled six feet of snow on the western New York stronghold. You figured the snow would take a long time to melt. But surely it would all be gone by late July, yes?

No: (Scroll down for video) Now does this prove anything about the plausibility or lack thereof concerning global warming? Not really. Whether the earth is warming is an entirely separate question from whether man-made activity is causing it, which is an entirely separate question again from whether we should try to do anything about if so, which is another matter still from whether prescribed liberal solutions are really good ones. (Hint: They're not. Global warming is just the liberal excuse to do things like massive tax increases and new government controls on industry - stuff they want to do anyway.) Then again, in a world that's really heating up like the alarmists claim, how do you get a six-foot snowstorm in November that hasn't even completely melted by July? You tell me weather isn't climate? I say man can't control either one. And only the people who have come to worship government as their god would be so foolish as to think that very imperfect institution should try.
