Nate Silver: Despite massively outspending Trump, Clinton's odds of victory collapsing

Prior to September, Hillary had already tried everything she could think of. She introduced herself, she re-introduced herself, she had a soft reboot, she re-re-introduced herself, and she still hadn't managed to seal the deal with the American people. That meant there was only one thing left to do. When you're a trainwreck candidate that no one wanted in the first place, you have no choice but to enact "The Jeb! Doctrine." Hillary decided that cash would be enough to make you forget about the health concerns, the bad plans, her own achievement-free record, and the fact that you don't trust her. So she spent an absolute ton of it:
Hillary Clinton spent $645,000 more a day than her opponent Donald Trump last month, but even with her $50 million campaign outlay, she has not been able to pull away from him in the race for the White House. Clinton's campaign had its most expensive month to date in August, eclipsing its previous monthly high by more than $12 million. And combined, Clinton and the national Democratic Party paid out $78 million in August, while Trump and the Republican National Committee spent about $47 million. The spending disparity has also become a favored Trump boast. "Our expenditures on advertising, our expenditures on people, our expenditures on everything are a tiny fraction. And yet we're minimum tied," Trump said Tuesday at a rally in Kenansville, North Carolina. "If you can spend less and be winning, that's a positive thing, right?"
...And Trump's right.

Back on August 3rd, the liberals' favorite polling wunderkind, Nate Silver, gave Trump only a 3.6% chance of winning. Hillary seemed unstoppable at 96.4% and every left-wing site on Earth was trumpeting his prediction. Millions of dollars later, Hillary's odds of winning have absolutely cratered. Things are a dead heat. According Silver's FiveThirtyEight site, Hillary's odds have dropped precipitously in the last month. Currently, they show Trump with a 46.7% chance of taking the oval office. Despite massively outspending Trump, Nate Silver shows Clinton's odds of victory collapsing This reinforces something I've been saying for over a year. Hillary Clinton is a well-known, and widely disliked, commodity. Exposure isn't her problem, and another round of get-to-know-you ads probably won't help. Just as it was with Jeb!, the more people see of her, the more they're reminded that they've had enough of the Clinton family. So what's her strategy going forward? Why, ramp up the spending, of course. It's time to double down on the Jeb! doctrine.

In battleground states, Hillary is planning to outspend Trump by an absolutely stunning 53:1...
A whopping 95 percent of all campaign television ad spending scheduled between today and Election Day — more than $143 million worth — comes from Clinton’s team, according to an ABC News analysis of CMAG/Kantar Media data. Team Clinton will spend $143.2 million on television ads, versus only $6.8 million for Team Trump. The difference in future spending in key battleground states is even starker — with Team Clinton slated to spend 53 times as much as Team Trump on television ads in Florida between now and Nov. 8.
Who said Democrats hate money in politics? Then again, Hillary's a candidate who can't run on personality, record, or promises. What else can she do?
