Guns still dangerous as blunt instruments

Sean Hannity and Dana Loesch face the stupidest gun control argument in history

Last night on the Hannity show, Sean hosted a discussion with conservative talk radio host Dana Loesch and liberal California talker Leslie Marshall. Loesch was great as always. Marshall, on the other hand, managed to make the single most moronic argument I've ever heard in a gun control debate.
Hannity was talking about Connecticut's newly proposed controls on purchasing ammunition. "The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed," Hannity said. "So, the government is either buying up ammunition, or making you get quote 'gun insurance' which now is being pushed as well in some states. And they're limiting your ability to purchase ammunition. Does that not render your second Amendment rights useless?

Leslie Marshall's response is astonishing in its complete lack of anything even remotely approaching intelligence. "I don't believe so," she said. "And I'm not trying to be violent here, Sean. But if you take a gun which I have not done and I don't have as you know - and you even see this in film - you can whack someone to death with that, Sean." You can whack someone to death with that. Seriously. She actually made the argument that your 2nd Amendment rights are still intact as long as you are allowed to bludgeon someone to death with an unloaded firearm. You even see this in film. This is what we're up against, folks.
