Check out this video of a 15-year-old girl speaking in front of a Maryland state legislature gun control hearing. From what we can gather, this took place on March 25th, but has only started going viral in the last 24 hours. Her name has been removed from the beginning of the clip to protect her identity, since she is, after all, a minor.
She's a bit nervous, and is speaking quickly, but she absolutely owns her argument.
Why we can't have a few more Congressmen capable of making such a succinct, logic-based, pro-2nd Amendment speech is beyond me.
We're well aware that it takes some serious intestinal fortitude to get up in front of a crowd and bring the heat - especially when you're still in high school - but we need more courageous young people to get out there and take exactly this type of stand. We hope the young lady featured below knows that she has our support, our gratitude, and our admiration.
