There have been plenty of reasons to be comfortably sure that alleged "Independent" Greg Orman really wasn't particularly independent.
It's pretty clear that he didn't want to run as a Dem because Dems are toxic, and by putting an ambiguous "I" after his name he might be able to enjoy an anti-party "bump." Most assume that, once elected, he'll be right at home caucusing and voting with Democrats.
If that's what you believe, congratulations. Joe Biden has just basically confirmed it.
Biden gave his rosy view of the midterms to WPLR and, as he says in the clip below, "We have a chance of picking up an independent who will be with us in the state of Kansas."
So remember, Kansas voters. A vote for Orman is a vote for a stealth Democrat. Joe Biden says so.
