It seems to me that a lot of children don't even get to have a present - let alone a future - if Wendy Davis is calling the shots.
That's a pretty reasonable extrapolation when a candidate's entire political persona is built on a one-woman filibuster that not only defends abortion clinics, but refuses to even see them subject to fairly standard inspection requirements.
But never mind that. Desperate candidates will say pretty much anything, which is why today Davis - who is in the process right at this moment of getting her clock cleaned by Republican Greg Abbott in the Texas gubernatorial race - said the following: “I don’t think it’s too dramatic to say that literally the future of our children depends on this race.”
I don't think it's too dramatic either. If you kids want to make it out of the womb alive, you'd better hope this race goes the way we all think it will and Wendy Davis ends up spewing her nonsense on MSNBC.
