Tickets? Please.

For the NYT, the Rubios' traffic tickets are a big deal. Clinton's tickets to 'Orgy Island?' Not so much

For the NYT, the Rubios' traffic tickets are a big dealMarco Rubio and his wife, Jeanette, are criminals. There. We've said it. According to a "bombshell" New York Times report, the Rubios are a pair of ne'er-do-wells who flout society's conventions every time they get behind the wheel. Their crimes are as numerous as they are vile.
The Rubios are guilty.... of traffic citations. I know. You had high hopes for young Marco and I'm sorry to tell you it's over. Facts, though, are facts. The Rubios are outlaws of the "no turn on red" variety.
According to a search of the Miami-Dade and Duval County court dockets, the Rubios have been cited for numerous infractions over the years for incidents that included speeding, driving through red lights and careless driving. A review of records dating back to 1997 shows that the couple had a combined 17 citations: Mr. Rubio with four and his wife with 13. On four separate occasions they agreed to attend remedial driving school after a violation. Mr. Rubio’s troubles behind the wheel predate his days in politics. In 1997, when he was cited for careless driving by a Florida Highway Patrol officer, he was fined and took voluntary driving classes. A dozen years later, in 2009, he was ticketed for speeding on a highway in Duval County and found himself back in driver improvement school. … Ms. Rubio’s driving record is even messier. According to the records, her driver’s license faced suspension on three occasions, including after a 2009 episode where she was driving a white Cadillac at 58 miles per hour on a road in West Miami with a speed limit of 35 m.p.h. She paid a $302 fine and agreed to attend a four-hour course at a local traffic school.

Of course, we kid. Traffic tickets are not going to derail Marco Rubio - especially when he's running against a woman who admits she's been unable to pilot her horseless carriage since 1996. Honestly, if the New York Times is so concerned about "really important stories" involving tickets incurred by possible presidential spouses, maybe they should take a look at Hillary's husband, Bill. If memory serves, he's had a few tickets of his own. ..Though admittedly, they didn't involve any driving. According to the New York Times, he's been given at least 11 tickets to fly on a plane nicknamed the "Lolita express." As The New York Post reported:
Just a few weeks ago, reports broke that Bill Clinton had flown at least 11 times on “The Lolita Express” — a private plane owned by the mysterious financier and convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. According to Virginia Roberts, who claims to have been one of Epstein’s many teenage sex slaves, Clinton also visited Epstein’s private Caribbean retreat, known as “Orgy Island.” “I remember asking Jeffrey, ‘What’s Bill Clinton doing here?’” Roberts said in 2011. The former president, she added, was accompanied by four young girls during his stay — two of whom were among Epstein’s regular sex partners. “And [Jeffrey] laughed it off and said, ‘Well, he owes me a favor.’ He never told me what favors they were.” Clinton also spent years traveling and partying with Ron Burkle, a billionaire bachelor with a penchant for very young girls. Clinton spent so much time on Burkle’s private plane that it came to be known in Burkle’s circle as “Air F—k One.”
Something tells me that round trip tickets to an island filled with child sex slaves might be more troubling than a few interstate "meows" from the Super Troopers. The NYT seems disinterested. But then, what do I know? I don't write for the lofty minds at the Grey Lady. Apparently, not all tickets are equal. Mrs. Rubio's driving skills are the real story. Remember. According to the New York Times: If a Republican's spouse has some traffic tickets, it's a big story. If Hillary's spouse is flying to a foreign island where bunch of teenage sex slaves are being held captive, no biggie.
