But let's keep underestimating them!

'The J.V. team' has now stolen enough radioactive material to construct a large-scale 'dirty bomb'As ISIS militants behead their way across the Middle East they're not just murdering and raping. They're also pillaging. Their plunder includes human slaves, massive amounts of global cash, US military equipment that we gave to Iraqi forces, and basically anything they want that isn't nailed down or forbidden by their archaic religion. Sadly, that includes a whole lot of radioactive material.
So far, they haven't managed to get their hands on a full scale nuclear device, but according to Australian intelligence reports, they have stolen all of the components necessary to construct devastating "dirty bombs." As the Independent reports:
The Isis militant group has seized enough radioactive material from government facilities to suggest it has the capacity to build a large and devastating “dirty” bomb, according to Australian intelligence reports. Isis declared its ambition to develop weapons of mass destruction in the most recent edition of its propaganda magazine Dabiq, and Indian defence officials have previously warned of the possibility the militants could acquire a nuclear weapon from Pakistan.

According to the Australian foreign minister, Julie Bishop, Nato has expressed deep concerns about the materials seized by Isis from research centres and hospitals that would normally only be available to governments.
Yes, "the J.V. team" certainly has come a long way. Unfortunately, the bad news doesn't end with radiation. ISIS has also gathered a stockpile of chemical and biological weapons that has world leaders (at least the ones who can drag themselves away from the golf course) worried.
The threat of Isis’s radioactive and biological weapons stockpile was so severe that the Australia Group, a 40-nation bloc dedicated to ending the use of chemical weapons, held a session on the subject at its summit in Perth last week. “This is really worrying them,” Ms Bishop said in an interview with The Australian. ....Last week Ms Bishop spoke at the Australia Group meeting about fears Isis was weaponising poisonous gases such as chlorine. And speaking to The Australian, she confirmed that the concerns she was raising stemmed from reports filed by the Australian department of defence as well the foreign office.
But hey, at least we don't have to worry about ISIS here in the States, right? It's not like they have any operatives in our country. Besides, we've been assured that Christians are just as bad, we're winning the fight on social media, and they're not hanging around on the other side of our porous southern border. We're free to spend our days ignoring and underestimating them. Lucky us.
