Breaking: Dem. Barbara Mikulski becomes 34th vote for Iran nuke 'deal' - protecting it in Congress

It's a big day for the alliance between Democrats and the world's number one terrorist state. Senator Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) has just announced that she will support President Obama's "deal" with Iran, guaranteeing that the plan will be safe from any GOP attempt to derail it. From Reuters:
BREAKING: Democratic Senator Mikulski says will support Iran nuclear agreement, giving Obama votes needed to protect deal in Congress.

Mikulski is retiring at the end of her term, so her decision holds little personal political downside. The Baltimore Sun has more details on her choice:
Sen. Barbara A. Mikulski of Maryland announced her support Wednesday for the pending nuclear agreement with Iran, offering the last vote President Barack Obama needs to ensure he can sustain a veto if Congress rejects the controversial pact later this month. Mikulski, a Democrat who is retiring at the end of her current term, handed the White House a symbolic victory, at least, with her decision to vote for the deal. She became the 34th Democrat to support the agreement, depriving Republicans of the votes needed to override a veto. "No deal is perfect, especially one negotiated with the Iranian regime," Mikulski said in a statement. "I have concluded that this Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action is the best option available to block Iran from having a nuclear bomb."
Of course the deal has a terrible (and easily-dodged) mechanism for inspections, and virtually guarantees that Iran will get the bomb a few years down the road. Americans overwhelmingly oppose the plan, but since when does that matter? These people do not care what you think. By now, we should all be used to the hubris.
